Unlike conventional gas springs that only feature controlled oil damping at the stroke's end, our gas springs deliver full-stroke damping. Tailored to customer specifications, the desired damping properties are incorporated into a tapered groove, filled with oil as the piston rod moves.
The unique groove in the cylinder tube of this gas spring variant allows the damping characteristics to be highly customizable to meet individual customer needs.This innovative damping mechanism does not rely on a nozzle as conventional gas springs do. Instead, it is managed by a groove in the cylinder, offering numerous advantages: consistent damping performance regardless of installation position, be it horizontal or with the piston rod facing upwards.The damping intensity and characteristics can be precisely adjusted to cater to specific customer requirements. This allows for a seamless transition into damping, thereby providing additional protection to the construction.
